Maya Scarf

$65.00
The Maya scarf was inspired by Maya Angelou and the themes of hope and transformation woven throughout her work. The Maya scarf was created based on a design collaboration with a former homeless resident (Sandy) and it celebrates both renewal and the creative culture of Los Angeles. A portion of your purchase will fund local, creative entrepreneur programs and Sandy. She used to be a member of the Downtown Women’s Center (which serves and empowers women experiencing homelessness).
The scarf’s centerpiece are the faces of the various ethnicities represented in the homeless community and the surrounding butterflies showcase the resilience, rebirth and positive thoughts for their future.
