About LOT XI

Founded by: Krystyl Wright and Cynthia Washington

Founded in: 2014

LOT XI was established in 2014 for the love of community and all things self-care. Krystyl Wright and Cynthia Washington a mother-daughter duo who have deep roots in communities that are overserved with limited access to quality self-care products.

Krystyl feels as though it’s awe-inspiring to be featured in L.A. creative force. The mother-daughter team uses their hearts to create and uses their hands to give to others through non-toxic hand poured-coconut candles, plant-based handcrafted body butter, and soaps just to name a few right in the community they call home. During these unprecedented times it is the community that allows them to thrive and ensures they do their part in by giving a percentage of their proceeds to community based causes and organization.

LOT XI incorporates fair trade/ non-toxic ingredients, and collaborates with local farmers to use in their self-care. The design process infuses aromatic scents to recreate the meaning of their products. You close your eyes, identify a cause and create scent palettes from there. LOT XI currently manufactures in West Adams where their family matriarch, Ophelia planted her seeds. The team also includes a few friends/family of whom are committed to the sustainability of LOT XI .
