LA Original is committed to highlighting and supporting the vast creativity that makes this beautiful city ORIGINAL  — from food, to fashion, to art, design and beyond.  Due to COVID-19, the stakes have never been higher to help our local creative businesses. So shop local and small this holiday to keep our business and unique neighborhoods alive.

To help support local and small businesses, we are dedicating a portion of our proceeds from every product to create a program that will help drive a culture of shopping small and local this holiday season and year-round. Our campaign will include marketing, tools, resources, in-store window displays and so much more. We are dedicated to building a shop local movement across this city (whether in person or online) to help preserve our communities, and dynamic and diverse neighborhoods that make this city so original and the best place to be!

LA Original proceeds also benefit the Downtown Women’s Center’s Made by DWC program, which teaches job training and maker skills to women transitioning out of homelessness. To date, LA Original grants have funded 3,500 hours of job training for women.
